"SUNNYHILL FARM" - 1845 Lot 4 east side of Main Street North (conc 2) Built by Brooks W. Howard born in 1817 and died 1891, son of Stephen Howard one of the earliest settlers. The House is 1½ storey with gable peak and centre hall plan. The exterior walls are three inch vertical planking with clapboard facing. The bellcast verandah on 3 sides was replaced in 1982 to conform to original. Designated under the Ontario heritage Act in 1982. |
